Hi there, and welcome to my little piece of the Spark! It's a new year with new goals! I'm resetting my weight ticker to my weight Jan. 1, 2011 with hopes of hard work and drastic changes.

Hi there, and welcome to my little piece of the Spark! It's a new year with new goals! I'm resetting my weight ticker to my weight Jan. 1, 2011 with hopes of hard work and drastic changes.

I'm a mother of three, a wife to a great man, a preschool teacher, and grad student all rolled into one. http://carrigansjoy.blogspot.com/

And, I'm also a veteran to SparkPeople. I began my Spark Journey almost 3 years ago (Feb. 08), lost around 20 pounds, got pregnant, gained back the 20 pounds, had my beautiful baby girl, lost a total of 50 pounds (20 preggo weight, 30 body fat) and now I'm back for more. :)

I plan on devouring all the info on fitness and healthy lifestyles as I can. I plan on building friendships, meeting other members in my own hometown for work outs, and just overall enjoying life.

As of February 2010, I've taken on the mission to train for a half marathon which will be held in November 2010. I'll take all the advice and encouragement you can throw at me!

My weight history:
June 2008: 230 lbs, size 20
April 2009: 215 lbs, size 18
Nov. 2010: 184 lbs, size 14/16

As of May 2011, we discovered we're having another baby! Pregnancy can definitely be up and down when it comes to workouts and fitness but at the moment I'm training for that big due date, Jan. 14, 2011. I'm trying to ride my bike weekly in hopes of getting back into running by Feb. 2011.

Modified Couch to 5K program as well as 20 minutes, daily, on my stationary bike.

It was great yesterday! I was out on my bike, taking advantage of it.

Are you cleared for exercise, yet? When the weather gets nicer, I'm going to try to have a Sparkpeople bike ride (Beginner) on the Riverwalk. Some of us can meet in person then.

I actually have been out riding. Went out yesterday and froze my toes! Tomorrow looks like it should be nice, but I have an appointment and won't have time to ride. :(

So far, I have over 400 miles logged for the year.
