I have struggled with weight for most of my adult life, going up and down between 170 and 190 over and over again. But then something happened...I reached the point where I honestly realized that I didn't like the way that I felt or looked. My lack of energy, size 16 clothes and gowing health concerns made me step back a moment and find a way to change the course I was on.

My first Zumba class was April 6, 2010. I was hooked! I really credit Zumba more than anything for helping me to stay motivated and taking off the weight. It is so much fun! I can hardly believe that there is an exercise this fun that can burn so many calories. It's amazing!

I'm not at my goal weight yet, but I'm half-way there and I feel great! So far, I've gotten down to a size 12 and felt my energy increase significantly. I'm so excited to be taking the journey toward better health. I can't wait to see what I can accomplish this year!
