Today will be The Day. Carpe-freakin-Diem.

Hi, I'm one of those "20-somethings" that I could "stand to lose a few pounds" and have been for years now.

Soooooooooooooooooo, now I want to make a change that will end this 'problem' so its not a struggle for all those years to come.
THIS is me making my change, a real change, once and for all.

Thank you for all of your support & motivation and its great to be able to do this along side all of you strong people on a site like this!

My Goals:
1) Lose Weight
2) Feel fit & confident
3) Fit into my clothes
4) Actually enjoy shopping for clothes again.
5) Actually enjoy trying to find something to wear when I have to go somewhere.
6) Be able to donate all my plus size clothing to charity because I'll never need it again.
7) Avoid diabetes.
8) Know that my body can do anything that I might want to do i.e. 3 day hike - no problem! :)
9) Go on trip with Mom to celebrate our mutual success.
10) Be described as slim & muscular. Not "built" and "solid" and "heavy".

My Program:
1) Exercising as much as possible.
2) Eating vegetables & fruits more.
3) Less processed foods.
4) Keeping within the caloric range.

Personal Information:
I am living in Maine right now. Its beautiful here.

Iíve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, itís a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

Check out the main page of the EE team- there are ďstickiedĒ topics you may be interested in to get involved- a buddy thread, a place to introduce yourself, weigh-in challenge, a birthday post.

Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. Iíve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me. I hope you have the same success!
