Goals are for achieving!

My kids are setting a good example for me! There was a time, when they were growing up, that I set that good example for them. Now they are the ones--all grown up (but living at home still), who are eating well, exercising, losing weight, and being their healthiest! I'm so proud of them! I need to follow suit and start taking better care of myself, too--like I used to. They are my inspiration!!!

My Goals:
By eliminating processed foods and eating whole foods almost exclusively, I hope to improve my health significantly over the next six months.

My Program:
Since I'm already doing an hour-long strength training class twice a week, concentrating on cardio needs to be my priority as far as exercise is concerned--and as much as possible. Keep the ipod charged!

My name is Carol. I am 56, married with 2 young college-age children who still live at home. I am striving to get my health back as menopause has hit hard. My motivation is high, but I am in need of support to continue.

Thanks for visiting my blog....appreciate it. You got the Challenge off to a super start with all of your cycling fitness! Woot! Rio, here we come!

I'm about to lace up and get out for a 120 minute walk. That's double what I usually do on my best days.... last night I faded completely by 9p. But it was a happy tired so all is well.

Let's go for as many mijles as we can today! Rio awaits! emoticon
