The way you think about food is directly linked to how much food you eat. If you concentrate on enjoying the flavors of the food you eat, you’ll begin to eat only when you’re truly hungry & you'll begin to stop when you feel satisfied. This “mindful eating” technique results in fewer total calories consumed because you’re paying particular attention to what you are actually eating. Be a "Mindful Eater" this week! 47 days ago
Hi Carol. I love your comments on my page. You are a very sweet person. I would love to be part of a 5% challenge again. I did one in 2013 Spring and Summer and lost about 40 pounds. I had to take the Fall challenge off due to my old knees. Then I joined back up with the Determined Daisies.. but didn't do to well knees were getting worse and i finally had both of them a total knee replacement in April of 2014 I am glad I did but it was extremely difficult doing both at the same time. I sill have pain when I get up and down. I haven't made it to the floor for exercises only by gravity not my own personal choice.. I haven't ready through your whole page yet. But I am going to do do that probably this evening as I have chronic insomnia. I need to try and get to my mothers today or tomorrow as she is on hospice care she is dying on kidney failure due to diabetes. So sad but she has chosen to not care for her illness all these past 5 years even longer that she was diagnosed at age 42 had her first heart attack then too.. it has been a hard life for her. I do love her it is just that she is in so much pain and it is killing my Dad to let go.. sorry don't mean to be a downer.. If fact I am going to read your page now it will cheer me up and inspire me to maybe walk to my mom's if I can do it with my walker.. Have a wonderful evening and It was so good to see your post and that you added me as a friend. I would like you as a friend 48 days ago
