Even though I'm proud of the 40+pounds that I've lost since I've been on sparkpeople, sparking has improved my life in so many other ways that the mere fact that I've lost weight doesn't seem as significant (even though it is, for health reasons!). I'm just as so happy to be part of this wonderful community of friends sharing a similar journey!
You know what made the difference for me? The 5% Challenges! They are awesome! Ask me about the Spring 5% Challenge!!!!

My Goals:
I try to eliminate processed foods entirely, and eat only whole foods. Lots of vegetables & protein, whole grains on occasion, and limited fruit (due to prediabetes)

My Program:
I'm one-of-those odd people that enjoy cardio, as well as Strength Training, & workout faithfully 5-days-week. Knees are bad, so riding stationary bike in front of the TV is my go-to.

Honestly, it's been a rough couple of days. I'm tough though. I can handle it. At least I am sticking to the program and hoping for weightloss this week. Fingers crossed!

Walking's not your thing … do something for 15 min (= 1 mile). Just move!
