    So glad you're one of us now. Welcome! It's never too late to try and make your life better. Just take it one day at a time. Sparkpeople is great. My biggest problem is knowing what foods to put together, but with Sparkpeople and their premade menus, I've found it very easy. I will stick to their menus until I'm certain I can do this on my own. You're going to do great!! emoticon

    Hey, Carol, welcome to Spark People! Looks like you got yourself started off okay on the site. Are you particularly lost about what to eat, how to track or what? In any case, I'd say start simple and start very small: just log everything you eat. Use the trackers if you can figure them out or just write it all down. If that seems too easy, then try smaller portions or 10 minutes of exercise, like marching in place. Or just ask yourself to read through some articles about health and fitness on the site. Spend time getting familiar with the place before you set any goals! The basic Spark approach is small changes, very gradually put in place, with rewards all along the way for success. Not big, sweeping change all at once! So keep it simple, sweetheart! You can do this!
