Getting healthy at any age
For the last 3 years, I have been working out and eating healthy foods. I have a wonderful trainer who has helped me. When I started with him, I'd been on blood pressure medicine for over 5 years. Within 6 months, I was able to stop taking bp medications. I've been using Nutrition Tracker to help me lose 15 pounds and am at goal weight. Now I'm working on muscle tone. I track my food every day and plan on doing it for life. I work out 4x a week and actually ...

My Goals:
1. Maintain my weight loss 2. Continue to exercise 4x/wk 3. Drink 10 glasses of water a day 4. Get rid of house clutter 5. Track food daily
My Program:
I work out 1.2 hrs 4x a week, cardio for 45 minutes, the rest in strength training. I track my food everyday as I know from past experience it's very easy for me to stop paying attention once I've reached my goal, and then start to put the weight back on.
Personal Information:
I live in the Bay Area (CA) and grew up in Red Wing, MN. I work 3 days a week in Information Technology and also have an art studio in a building in Sausalito, CA with 100 other artists.
Other Information:
I love traveling and have started going on adventures again now that my son is at college. In the last 4 years I've gone to China, Viet Nam, Italy and Turkey. I'm planning Thailand and Cambodia next.
