TIME TO UPDATE

Yes, it has been a while since I updated this page! And I really want to change photos as I have many in my computer but always depend on daughter or daughter-in-law to help me with that. Maybe I will try it on my own.
Right now I am at weight that one weight loss company told me should be goal. But that is still overweight and I really want to lose 10 more lbs. to be where SP recommends.

Right now I am at weight that one weight loss company told me should be goal. But that is still overweight and I really want to lose 10 more lbs. to be where SP recommends.
I am very proud of the exercise I now get when in the beginning I could not walk for 5 minutes due to a bad knee and hip. Today I get as many as 130 minutes of exercise. Especially love the water aerobics, but also enjoy walking and the recumbent bike.
My husband of 56 years supports and encourages me all the time. And I have just started challenges which I enjoy even though I am not a competitive person. But they do keep me on my toes. During the 56 days of the 2010 Winter 5 % Challenge I hope to lose 10 lbs., a real challenge for me!

My Program:
The Nutrition Tracker is my constant buddy as I use it faithfully every day. With my bad knee I didn't think I could exercise much, but now am up to a 40-45 minute walk and 30 minutes of riding the recumbent bike. Losing weight has certainly helped!

I love the nutrition tracker! My food is pretty much tracked to a T for the last 2 years, there were a couple weeks I slipped up and didn't track, but for the most part it's pretty consistent. :)

Thank you for visiting my spark page and leaving that nice comment. I was reading some of your past blogs and that oatmeal recipe sounded so good! Also I agree with you on Dr Oz. I think some of his advice is so commercial and I just do not agree with him. However, as they say his ads or should I say the advertisers that quote him are helping keep the site free. I just grit my teeth and try to ignore them!

Sorry to have been MIA the past few days. My youngest 2 graduated on Thursday night and I've been at a flat run. How are you doing? emoticon
