I am originally from New York but have been a floridian since 1986. I desperatley need to lose weight, My mobility is getting bad and my health declining. I have a wonderfull hubby of 39 years. I have 3 children and 9 grand children.

Other Information:
I love to work with polymer clay, do machine embroidery, quilt and read.

IAMAGEMLOVER..lots of good bargins on craigs list, also try e-bay, and look for local pick up, play it again sports( but they tend to be high priced and of course garage sales and thrift stores, and pawn shops. good luck finding one.. there are lots of aps too for cell phones that will track your distance, miles, calories etc, they are free too.. emoticon

emoticon for your idea of going to craigslist to find a bicycle on the team post. I never would have thought of it. I have been going to flea markets with no luck.

I have been back at sparkspeople for 3 weeks now, the first 2 weeks were great.. I am still logging my food every meal, every morsel that goes into my mouth.. I bought a 3 wheel trike and have been riding 35-40 min per day on it for the last 5 days,.. I had assumed that the added exercise would really boost my weight loss this week.. I am an extreamly sedentary person.. I weighed my self this am and gained 1.4 lbs.. I was almost in tears.. I looked back over my food log to see if I ate anything that would cause the gain and I noticed that I am suppose to eat between 1250-1500 calories per day, and 4 of the 7 days I only ate between 930-1150 per day.. I am so discouraged.. whats the use.. whats wrong?? emoticon emoticon
