My name is Carol and my husband and I work the night shift at a hospital up here in Upstate, NY. We sleep during the daytime and so have to work getting things done around our work and sleep schedule. It is a busy hospital and does tire us out. Relaxing is a priority for us on our off nights as it works as a stress reliever.

I work as a Patient Care Tech-which entails-patient care, doing EKGs, Phlebotomy draws, etc..... I work on a busy Cardiac floor.

My goal is:
-I want to firm up and stay on my maintenance. But, I want to lose a few pounds more-not a lot.
-Hubby and I want to get out more this year to the park, etc on nice mornings.

I will still be following my special diet plan from my Gastric Bypass surgery.
I will be exercising daily-different exercises to keep it interesting.
Waiting for the Team assignment. I put in for my team the Tiger Monarchs.

I will be updating my page further as it gets closer to start the challenge.

Personal Information:
My husband and I work in the hospital here on night shift.

We are hoping to move south back to Florida next year. But, for right now we just want to survive the winter!

Other Information:
I work night shift so I sleep during the daytime and my "inner time clock" so to speak is upside down.

I'm glad your WLS was a success. Listen to the six one-hour lectures on YouTube by JASON FUNG M.D. who explains how WLS is a type of Fasting and thus it can reverse Type 2 diabetes. He is very interesting and I've learned so much from him about Insulin Resistance and cell health. He works with kidney patients who often have Diabetes.
