Carol's new year

I'm going to do it this time. As many people, I've gained and lost the same pounds countless of times. This time I am going to stick with it and lose the weight. I am going to exercise and I am going to enjoy it. I am going to be able to buy smaller clothes and not flinch when I see pictures of myself.

My Goals:
1. lose 30-40 pounds.
2. exercise 3x/week.
3. manage my budget and household in a happy and healthy way.




My Program:
Exercise regularly, zumba, gym and walking. Try to follow Naturally slim plan of eating only when hungry, eat only til comfortably full and eat very slowly.

Personal Information:
I live in San Antonio, TX. I am 52 (yes, I am admitting it), a neonatal nurse, mom of 2. I have scoliosis and had surgery for rod placement and fusion when I was 12. Less weight would be much better for my back.

Ha! I don't know that I can say I "like" running while I'm doing it. I remember, right around the 2-mile mark of this 5K, wondering why in the world I was bothering to do this, and how I could possibly think, when I wasn't running, that this would be fun. :D But I do like how I feel afterwards, I suppose!

Carol don't worry about being able to memorize the routine. Just memorize the steps. TaMara will be leading us and she will have the routine down by then!
