Living Fit and Happy

I'm truly motivated to obtain a stronger and healthier body, making myself physically fit. I am certain that I can accomplish my goal of becoming physically fit. No need for any stress or messiness. Just simple meals everyday and a late evening snack. i'm committing to an exercise regime everyday, with water aerobics at least three times per week.
I've met some fantastic and motivating people here on SPARK PEOPLE; the more friends I make here, the happier I am. My friends help ...

Living Fit and Happy could be considered a dream for many people, but I have come to realize that it need not be a dream for anyone.
It is more than past the time for me to consider my own fitness and to live the healthy life-style I desire. Motivation and encouragement will work for me which is the reason I joined S/P. There is so much to learn from other people in the S/P community. I realize that it is a struggle to keep motivated and walk the straight and narrow path all the time, therefore, here is where I hope to be refreshed daily with the right amount of motivation and inspiration that will bless me and others to make the correct choices in life, hence all of our lives will be blessed with new hope and strength.
Hope everyone will have a nice and productive path while on the journey.

My Goals:
1) Maintain success with my food plan daily... allowing for only healthy foods
2) lose at least one dress size before the Christmas Holiday. (2013)
3) I will do this by: Eating healthy meals in appropriate portions.
Daily exercise, journaling, and logging on to Spark people.
4) become more productive to myself and others.


My Program:
1) No sugary or starchy foods.PLEANTY of vegetables and fruits.
2) 3 meals daily in addition to at least one sack in the evening.
3) Meditate daily
4) Maintain an attitude of gratitude.
5) Think positive and do positive things.

Personal Information:
I'm a mother a grandmother and a widow. Worked in the health care field for many years and am now happily retired. I love my family, my friends, and my church.
Currently I am writing motivational short stories and poems, and have a published book of motivational poetry.

Other Information:

Only YOU can make your goals and dreams a reality, so be sure to work hard for them. You don't need me to remind you that you're worth the effort, do you? Good morning from the Countdown to Spring team! I hope you are having a healthy, fabulous week so far. Can you believe that there is less than a week until the first day of Spring? (It sure doesn't feel like it in my neck of the woods, though!) Let's make the most of these final days of the challenge...and then keep that momentum going! We can accomplish a lot if we just commit to doing our best one day at a time. We are worth the effort!

Sometimes when we set goals we set them too high. What we like to lose versus what we do lose can differ greatly sometimes. Just remember, even if you don't reach the original goal of 25 lbs, the important things is that you end up with a loss versus a gain. That you can still consider success and keep pushing on til the next milestone and eventually you will reach your goal. emoticon
