Hello, Fellow Sparkers! I was away for a while, but I am back on track with trackers. I began in January and was able to lose 10 pounds before having breast reduction surgery in May, then I lost another 3 pounds on the table! (Not a great way to lose three pounds!)... Anyway, I have learned a lot about diet and nutrition on this site, but the weight loss has been slow. I did quit smoking in April, and, though it caused a little bit of a struggle maintaining my weight loss, we all know it is well worth it. Overall, I have lost 30 pounds over the past year. Like I said, slow but steady. I had to wait 8 weeks post-surgery to get back on the treadmill, so I am looking now to shed another10, 20, 30 ... who knows?! My basic goal is to feel great!

My Goals:
I recently joined a Challenge Group focused on losing 10 pounds per month. If that is really possible, it would get me to my goal in no time! After that, I'll settle for continuing to slowly shed pounds till I achieve a balance that is good for me at my current age (not trying to get to high school weight here).

My Program:
I am using the Nutrition Tracker faithfully on a daily basis. Also working really hard to get more water consumption into my daily routine. I recently got a pair of Skechers Shape-Ups, and, so far, I love them. I've been walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes at a time. My goal is to do this at least 5 times a week.

Personal Information:
Living in the peace and quiet of Ravenna, Ohio, but travel to the coasts as often as I can!

Other Information:
I recently discovered that I was misdiagnosed with Fibromyalgia for 21 years. I HAVE CELIAC DISEASE. I stopped eating gluten in mid August '10, and felt 20 years younger within days. This is the first time since my mid-twenties that I have actually been able to get on the treadmill and enjoy a healthy amount of activity without "hurting" myself. I have to admit that I have some amount of bitterness about "losing" 21 years of my life, but I am determined to start living the best life I can RIGHT NOW!
