To reach a healthy weight.

My Program:
Keep food journal; aim for 1300-1500 calories per day.
Increase fruits and veggies.
Do at least 30 minutes of cardio 4 x/week or more.
Do strength training (20 minutes) at least 3 x weekly.

You're right Deborah, arthritis does make exercise challenging. Make modifications and go with it!

Hi, Deborah!
Thanks for stopping by my page. I've been so busy recently I haven't been able to learn much about my lodge mates.

You asked about my art interests. Before I had my son, I did a lot of oil painting--mostly landscapes and animals. Then with a child and homeschooling I just let that slide. I still did a lot of drawing and I've done a lot of crafting with the kids at church, and I taught quite a few art/craft classes in our homeschooling co-op. Now that my son has graduated, I've started back into painting only I switched to acrylics. I feel like I'm learning to paint all over again. I also love to do paper quilling--mostly flower pictures.

I see you teach literature. High school, college?
