My Lifestyle Change
I graduated from Xavier in 2006 and have been a member of SparkPeople since April 30th of that year. I lost 48 pounds and 29 inches and was able to maintain my goal weight for a year or two. Over the past year, a very stubborn 10 pounds has crept back on, so I'm trying to get back into all of my healthy habits so that they can disappear again! My Goals:
I am trying to lose 10 pounds by the end of June. I am also trying to increase the weight I am using for my strength training and my speed while running.
My Program:
I am trying to eat more fruits and vegetables and watch my portion control. I am drinking 8 glasses of water every day, and am trying to exercise at least 45 minutes 6 days a week.
Personal Information:
I'm originally from Bradford, OH, but have been living in Cincinnati since I came to Xavier in 2002. My husband and I now own a home in St. Bernard. I got married on 12/30/11 and am loving married life with my husband! He's even coming to work out with me now! He has lost 15 pounds and is helping me to stay motivated!
Other Information:
My hobbies include reading, sewing, quilting and crochet. I also love spending time with my family and friends. They are definitely the most important things to me!
