Here i am. Losing weight sucks. But being overweight sucks more. I have struggled with weight issues since I was 11...but when I look back at pictures I realize that the problems are more in my head than based in reality. Somewhere along the line I started believing I was fat and I've never really changed that belief regardless of my actual weight. Truth is, I now have an actual reason to believe it. Call it sell-fulfilling prophecy; 2 weeks ago I weighed 281lbs.....probably about 145lbs more than I should. So now I will start a journey I've begun many times before, somehow find the motivation to believe, once again, that I can do this.

My Goals:
Goal #1: Stick with this program longer than 5 weeks. COMPLETED 6 WEEKS - April 15, 2013
Goal #2: Weigh 250lb by June 30/13 COMPLETED JUNE 23!!!!!!!
Goal #3: Find the belief in my body to create some end-goals COMPLETED- SEE GOAL #5+#6
Goal #4: Stick with this longer than 5 months. COMPLETED 6 MONTHS - AUGUST 2013
Goal #5: Ride a 25-mile Endurance Race (that's on horseback..it's the equivalent to running a half-marathon) Scheduled for September 2014
Goal #6: 150 lbs. There. I said it.


My Program:
1. Stay within my calorie range...as per SP
2. Limit sugar and yeast products
3. NO fast food drive thrus
4. 8 glasses of water EVERY DAY.
5. Get enough sleep and rest to mitigate other stresses in my every day life

I have lost weight on SP before, only to gain it back. I consider myself a food addict, so like any addiction, it probably takes several tries before you kick it for good!
