I'm living the lifestyle, eating & exercising like the slim, fit & healthy person I want to be; by body can't help but catch up, because I'm worth it, and I deserve it.

I've been painfully aware that I've lost large amounts of weight before, and gained it all back and more! I'm embarrassed I was 202 in 2007, 168 in 2008, 209 in 2010, and now I'm at 170. I've been painfully aware that I've lost large amounts of weight before, and gained it all back and more! I'm embarrassed I was 202 in 2007, 168 in 2008, 209 in 2010, and now I'm at 170. I want people to know that I gained 40 pounds, even though I was on SparkPeople. I know I'm not alone. Regain happens to other people, too. I feel for them, and want them to know that with the right kind of tools (mostly mental) you can lose the weight for the last time.

I'm 53, divorced and have 3 boys: 27, 22 & 15.

I follow Fat 2 Fit Radio. A blog & podcast for diet & exercise motivation.

I go to the rec center for group fitness classes.

And I listen to Inside Out Weight Loss for inner peace.

It's comforting to have someone else who actually understands about my dad. He's in his 8os and won't change. My SIL gets upset as she is a professional, (like my brother and I aren't - lol) but we can't control dad. He is of a generation when the man was head of the house and he "isn't going to be told what to do by a woman." Not that I would try anyway.

We really will have to get together some day. When I'm feeling better physically and in a better place emotionally as well. I know we would have fun together.

Please wait until you are completely well before you go back to work.

I have wonderful work ethics too my friend. But, I draw the line when it comes to making myself sick again when my body is fighting an infection and trying to get me well.

I also don't want others around me being concerned I'm infecting them.
