Here's to a New Me

I am Caren. A stay-at-home homeschooling mom of 2 kids. My son is 8 and my daughter is 6.

I have struggled most of my life with weight and recently found out what I have figured all along, I am hypothyroid.

With a fresh diagnosis, some thyroid replacement meds and diet and exercise I am determined to fight this weight struggle that being hypo causes.

My Goals:
At the age of 40, going on 41 I need to make some serious lifestyle changes. I need to build endurance, keep my body healthy and eat right.

My Program:
Working out 5 days a week. 3 days are circuit training type of workouts either in a group setting or at home using the 30 Day Shred DVD. The other 2 days are cardio - either zumba or a DVD.

Other Information:
We are a homeschooling family and into organic living as much as possible. We eat no chemicals if we can help it. Nothing artificial, no high fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated anything.
