My name is Jackie, and I live in Las Vegas with my husband and our 3 adorable cats. I have been a nurse for 26 years, mainly in ICU and post-surgical Recovery, now in Pre-Op.
I herniated a disc in my lower back a few years ago, and combined with quitting smoking, I've put on about 30 pounds. I found SP in December of 2009, and firmly believe that it's the greatest website on the whole Internet!

I got the ZUMBA Exhilarate DVD set as an early Christmas present from my hubby (per my request!) What a blast!!
I just got a bicycle and am SO excited about riding again!! I am also using resistance tubes/bands at home for strength training, as well as several workout DVD's.
Personal Information:
I am the youngest of 3 kids, and don't have any of my own, unless you count my cats!! I love to watch sporting events--tennis, football, Olympic sports, and of course, BASEBALL! My family has lived in St. Louis since 1973, and I am a true Redbirds fan--I even have a small Cardinal tattoo on my right hip!!
I quit smoking on May 4, 2009! WOOHOO!!!
