June 17, 2013 Hmm.. where do I start. Well, I can start by saying that I never thought I would be starting over. Just over 3 years after reaching my goal weight I have gained all of the weight back. June 17, 2013 Hmm.. where do I start. Well, I can start by saying that I never thought I would be starting over. Just over 3 years after reaching my goal weight I have gained all of the weight back. Boo! I’m returning to the SparkPeople community for support and encouragement during my journey to lose 35 lbs. I am committing myself not just to losing the weight, but to staying active in the community for at least a year after reaching my goal, in the hopes that it will further ingrain the healthy habits that I relearn. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* 2010 Summary: I met some major milestones in 2010, including meeting my goal of losing 30 pounds by my 30th birthday and running my first half marathon. My half marathon training was a great distraction, but after I completed it the stress of being unemployed for an extended period of time due to a layoff caught up with me and I fell back into my old habits. Highlights: ~ Named a SparkMotivator 01.01.10 ~ Ran my first half marathon, the Disney Princess Half Marathon on 3.7.2010!!! ~ Met my goal of losing 30lbs on 4.01.2010!!! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* 2009 Summary: I dragged butt and got serious about my SparkProgram around my birthday in early May. I lost 10lbs in my first 3 weeks back, then life happened. I could go on and on but I won't because what it really boils down to is that I stopped making me a priority. I ended 2009 at 173 pounds, for a net loss of 12 pounds (I kept regaining and losing the same 5 pounds when I got off track).
