These Are My Confessions....
Well here we are. It's officially springtime and summer is just around the corner (damnit!) And guess what? I don't have a damn thing to show for it! It's time for me to fess up to some painful truths and be real with ya'll. As most of you may know I originally joined SP b/c of a weight-loss bet we had going at work. I was highly motivated and wanted to join a like minded community. And let me just go ahead and say now that I appreciate everyone for not calling my ass out. We all can do ...
Well here we are. It's officially springtime and summer is just around the corner (damnit!) And guess what? I don't have a damn thing to show for it! It's time for me to fess up to some painful truths and be real with ya'll. As most of you may know I originally joined SP b/c of a weight-loss bet we had going at work. I was highly motivated and wanted to join a like minded community. And let me just go ahead and say now that I appreciate everyone for not calling my ass out. We all can do the math, and clearly that challenge ended a few weeks ago. And, well we know that if I had won the $$$ I would have BEEN bragged about that. My friends I'm so saddened/ashamed to say that the winner lost a grand total of......SIX POUNDS!!! Yes, I said it, the damn winner only lost 6 lbs! So this shows two things, it's hard to lose weight, everyone struggles with it, and two - my ass is just as sorry as everyone else! lol But, enought of that. This is a brand new month and I'm starting fresh. If the work bet has taught me anything it's that everyone on SP has the right idea by weighing in at least twice a month. It holds you more accountable and you're not in denial when the truth is right there. So I'm done with the excuses and I'm going to try to post more frequently like I did when I first joined. I will also chart my progress. So that means that losing or gaining I WILL report it. That in itself will practically force me to do better. Hell, I can't have ya'll talking bout me! lol Well here's to a fresh beginning and making this a Marvelous May!! (yes cheesy I know)

My Goals:
Ok here's the short version, if you want the TMI version just ask! lol To get under 200 lbs To exercise 5 x week Drink at least 64 oz. of water To fit into my old clothes - size 14 To buy new clothes in a size 12!! To motivate my Mom and Dad to lose with me! To take a new and improved family portrait this summer (it's the small things we take for granted, like actually looking forward to having your pic taken - for the last 10 yrs or so I've hated to take my picture, but I'm ready to change that!!!) To lose this weight & keep it off for good! I'm tired of gaining it back after losing it b/c I always end up BIGGER than before I lost the weight. It's unhealthy and it's time for it to STOP!!!!
Other Information:
I love, love, love to read! I'm always up for any recommendations for new authors. I think my pic should be next to the word SARCASM in the dictionary. (Don't worry, you'll see it come out soon - check my 1st blog, that verifies it! lol) I love my smile! My fav TV shows are Scrubs, Biggest Loser, Grey's Anatomy, and ANTM (yes, I'm the one that will watch it ALL DAY during the weekends when they show it on MTV even though I've seen it a million times)
