Hope I can help you out--I put pp in the shake so that I am replenishing the muscles, it is what feeds the muscles and the pp has amino acids in it that help repair and rebuild the muscles as well as combat muscle fatigue later. I usually use a low carb one if I am going to add fruit/milk . I only use a higher carb one if I know I have not eaten enough carbs that day (not eaten enough meals), or if my energy levels have been really low. That's telling me that I am working hard but not eating enough to replenish what I am burning, so instead I am just getting burnt out and crashing during a workout....and you don't want that! lol If you are thinking about trying one start with a vanilla, cause some flavors can be flat out gross. lol Vanilla is quite safe tho!
