Hmmm, very interesting that you had the leg cramps, too! Do you get them regularly?I think in part its tied to hypothyroid disease... its one of the symptoms. I have other "triggers"... not eating enuf, sweating and not replacing sodium, too much protien, too much exercize too late in the day, when things aren't going right for me or my loved ones, having alcohol, wearing high heels that compress my toes, my thryoid hormone being low. Sometimes I am up all nite with them, othertimes I'll go to put on my shoes and my foot will lock up. And other days, I'm completely fine. I've also noticed that I can be up all nite with cramps, but after 6 am I can sleep. So I am wondering if there's some sort of circadian hormone that is or isn't being secreted during the nite, that contributes to them.

I've continued with the cinnamon despite this, as well as adding the C to my water to remove the chlorine. My weight has pretty much stayed the same, but I notice that my lil buddy has vanished. My eldest asked me last nite, what I'd been doing because Lil buddy was completely gone! So I don't know if its the lack of chlorine and extra C (adrenal glands love C ), the cinnamon or both.

I was considering stopping both to see if LB would return.
But I really don't want him back. ha

Good day to your, Caracia!

I'm from Plano, Texas... a 'burb north of the Dallas.
I love east Texas, with its piney forests, rolling hills and red earth.

Beauty is clearly not why people move to the "black plains" area where live. That said, I do have a nice situation here, as nice as one can get in a suburb, with my house overlooking a large park, a wooded creek and no neighbors behind or to the West of me. YAY!

My moniker of Mzzchief was chosen, because the name describes me well. I love to cook, "Mz Chef", I'm the boss of my own self and my household as I am a single mom"Mz Chief" and my funloving (and often annoying to others as a result) nature is covered by "Mischief". Central to all of this is the "chi" in the name's center.

I'm sorry to hear that you have grown a "lil buddy". That's what I call mine... as most of my fat has decided to favor my abdomen as its central meeting place since I went into perimenopause. I've started taking cinnamon with my tea, which seems to help with bloat. However I looked up cinnamon yesterday and discovered that the most common form of it, cassia, contains coumarin which can irritate the liver. The last few days, my nitetime leg cramps returned, so I don't know if mabbe the cinnamon is the culprit.

Freaking bodies, they can be so difficult! ha

Thx for your comment on my vitamin C and Chlorine Blog!
I use a vitamin C filter made by Nutra-C, but I'm going to check out your link too, its always nice to have choices!

You are so lucky to have clean well water! Here they source from a local lake, add fluoride and chlorine, both halogens that are bad for thyroid function. Yes you guessed it, I have hypothyroid disease, which is what lead me to Spark... as I suddenly had weight that was resistant to efforts to get it off.

Have a fun weekend... spring is here in Texas... yay!
