I am a sophmore at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in psychology because i want to help ppl. i consider myself very social and a little eccentric. I think my friends and family would agree. I used to be 89 lbs at the age 17!!! now im 150 and want to get first to 130 an maybe to 120-115. we will see.

I used to be a nutrition major but I hate science so i am sticking in pyschology to become a eating disorder therapist or a therapist in general!

1/12/09-egh. i aam soo hungry today. its crazy. i am just also tired and have a headache. it's bad. im trying to give up artifical sweetners still and it's really causing all these problems. but i need to. i went to the gym yesterday and i felt really fit. i didnt have time to weigh in but i will today. i snacked on some rye crackers. which helped. i just wished i didnt feel like sh*t. there is really no reason. on wednesday i have a party to go to which i am excited for since i havent gone to one in a while. hopefully that will make me feel better:)

1/16-this is my stop button. im so tired and cant stop eating im still under 700 cal and i need to stop

I bike ride everywhere and have to go a mile everytime I want to go to the grocery store. I also started going to the gym. I know I have to eat alot more than most because I exercise so much so I try to make its healthy food with tons of veggies.

Personal Information:
I love biking, having alone time, cooking, listening to music, dancing, babies, the sun, and reading.

Other Information:
I like memoirs, like "The kite runner", "catcher in the rye", and "the color of water". and i am absolutely obsessed with music. My favorite activites are dancing, bike riding, running, and playing tennis and the elliptical.

Sorry to hear you've been sick! Glad to hear you were active and feeling better yesterday though :). It's probably a good thing to cut back on artificial sweeteners. That's one thing I limit but haven't cut out completely because it's just very hard to completely avoid them, they're in just about everything! Moderation is key, in my mind, I guess! And, about the weighing, the only thing I can say is from my own experience. Weigh-in once a week (the same time, same day) helped me see how my eating and exercise for that week had effected my weight. It gave me some sort of gauge on how well I did... or how not-so-well sometimes! Plus, it's nice to look back and see how my weight went up and down but overall had a downward effect over time :). It's completely up to you, though. Now that I'm in maintenance, I only weigh myself once a month -- mainly to keep an eye on any upward trends that may be occurring. Do you ever take your measurements? They're often more accurate than that darn scale anyway!

Hey girl! You commented on my site a couple months ago so I thought I'd check to see how you're doing. Looks like you've lost 5 pounds, that's great! :) How has everything else been going so far? Are getting into the groove of your new healthy lifestyle? :)
