Sparking on Cape Cod

Have been through surgery and rehab for lung cancer (successful) and am now dealing with a recurrence (#3) and Glaucoma and Cataracts I am currently using a gym along with hiking and walking & eating more healthy foods
I have reached my weight goal of 150 lbs and am maintaining a program of diet and exercise. I am now enjoying life and all the friends I have made while here at SparkPeople. I will not let Cancer, COPD , Glaucoma or Cataracts keep me down !!

My Goals:
Met my weight goal and am improving other areas of my life. (consistent exercising and more positive outlook)


Lost 55 lbs. and maintaining

My Program:
Walking/hiking 2-3 miles a day along with regular exercises
I am back at the gym--all new equipment!!

Personal Information:
I live on Cape Cod and am a lung cancer survivor x 2 with#3 coming up.



I was operated on successfully and have been through rehab and am now using a home gym and community gym and am eating healthier.
Now dealing with COPD,Glaucoma and Cataracts
Oh the joys of aging!!

Other Information:
I am now cutting and splitting fire wood for wood stove. This is for my winters heat and is great exercise. I also try for at least a 2 mile hike each day with my furry friend. This winter I am married to a snow blower, one storm after another. Great exercise though.
