The patient only likes the without bones and white meat so we don't have it often. In the spring (during Lent) we get a good price on Captain Cut Cod. I like haddock and sole but sometimes there's bones if they don't fillet them right.
My late BIL caught trout and his wife didn't care for it so I'd get some. He'd gut them and freeze them in the river water with their heads still on so I'd defrost, wash, cut the heads off and then freeze it the way I liked. I'd bake two at a time in foil with lemon slices & garlic and have it for my lunch ~ good eating! 20 days ago
Apparently we got the rumble from a 5.6 earthquake in Pawnee, Oklahoma. It only lasted about 15 seconds here and no damage. I was still in bed and the shaking of the bed woke me up. Very unusual for Missouri. 25 days ago
Thank you for the well wishes. Not 100% but at least feeling like I can get things done around here. I've been going outside each day in the hot sun trying to bake this illness out of me. I think it helped. The problem with that was that I depleted my energy and was useless the remaining part of the day. You be careful out there in the HHH ~ 31 days ago
Hey, I'm the top hen and I get to decide who roosts where I'll pencil you in. Would you like a corner room with a garden view? Of course DW is not going to put you in the when you're making meals. She's a smart woman, tee he he.
