No socializing for Henna & Tom. They'd probably leave with the wild flock. Can't have that. I need them for future breeding.

We called it an early day today. It's rough to work outside in the heat. Yesterday we all got a touch of heat stroke.

There's a nice breeze tonight. Sat outside for a bit with my lap warmers. They ran around on the grass. Those little legs can move fast, LOL.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I also have an app on my phone called walklogger. It keeps track of my steps and I can then download them to Spark (by hand, not automatic). I really like it and mostly wear slacks or capris with pockets so I can always carry my phone with me. Have a great day & let's keep moving!

Ha now I'm feeling guilty. By the time I get thru with the critters I'm tired and just want to sit with a cup of tea.

I need to start working on me again. I have all kinds of work out equipment I can use. Now if only I can get motivated.

Molly needs some rice and gravy on that food to get her back to eating. Boil up a bag of rice (or buy a quart from your local Chinese restaurant) and get one large can of soft dog food. In the morning put a tablespoon of soft dog food on the bottom of her bowl with 1/4 cup of hot water. Mix it around so it makes a gravy then add 1/4 cup of rice, then a cup of her hard food and mix it up. That rice and can of soft dog food should last a little over a week. After that's gone just add hot water to her food and mix it around. It turns into a broth. That's how I had to ease our canines back to eating after they were on a strict chicken and rice diet.

Bob you flatter me.

No don't eat the chicken fat unless it's coming from organic chicken. I also had my gallbladder removed and can't handle greasy/fried foods.

Purchase duck fat in a jar. It adds lots of flavor to foods. Do you have a Whole Foods Market nearby?

In the winter I save the bacon fat and mix that with oats & berries for my chickens. They need extra fat to handle the cold temps.
