Shape-up 2008

Hi - I'm looking for ways to be motivated without having to actually show up somewhere to get weighed. I like weight training and cardio machines at the Y, mostly working on my own. My dogs would love it if I walked them more!

I'm 65 and have always been in pretty decent shape, but the pounds have crept on over the years, because we have a big family and we love to get together and cook! I need to get control again. I want to feel strong and healthy, because I have a lot more ...

My Goals:
I'm an artist and my big goal is to have my paintings in a New York gallery. I want to look fabulous for my first New York opening!

Secondly, and probably most importantly, I want to be healthy and strong enough to continue the busy life I now lead.

My Program:
I am counting calories and adhering to a mostly vegetarian diet. Drinking lots of water, and working out at the Y at least three times a week.

Personal Information:
I love walks in the woods with my dogs, family gatherings, listening to jazz, and creating art.
