My Goals:
I don't expect to be the size I was in high school. But I remember when I was around 150 - which really wasn't so long ago - and I was happy with myself there. I'd like to get back to that state - just being happy with myself enough that I don't really think about it anymore.

My Program:
Goal 1: lose 10 pounds by September 1.

Goal 2: lose 25 pounds by Halloween.

Goal 3: lose 35 pounds by Thanksgiving.

Goal 4: lose 40 pounds by Christmas.

Goal 5: lose 50 pounds by Valentine's Day.

Goal 6: lose 60 pounds by 9th wedding anniversary (April 12).

Goal 7: lose 65 pounds by my birthday (May 4).

Goal 8: lose 75 pounds by the 4th of July.

Goal 9: lose the remaining 5 pounds by mid-August of next year.

Hey Mrs. Carly -

I come from West Virginia. I've been living in CT (in the Simsbury/Avon area) for about 5 years now. It does take a bit of getting used to. I remember the first person I waved to as I was driving by ignored me. When I looked in the rear view mirror, he was gawking at me like he'd just escaped the clutches of an axe murderer! it gets better though, I promise!

Hey, I saw your post on the Connecticut forum. What part are you living in? I'm just moved here from the south too and it is a HUGE culture shock for me. Where are you coming from???

Thank you for your response to my blog!

You're absolutely right - I tend to really beat myself up for things, and it certainly doesn't help me in the long run. Thank you for reminding me to be easier on myself. :) You've got some great goals!

Welcome to the team! Your children are beautiful! I've only been doing this for about 2+ weeks and have learned alot...check the message boards regularly for inspiration, motivation and those questions that somebody always seems to have the answer to! Good luck!
