A Girl and Her Diet

I've done this before but here I am again. About 9 years ago I lost a total of 130 pounds. Over the past couple years I've gained about way too many of them back. Not nearly up to where I was beforem but if I don't gain control now, I will be!

My Goals:
My goals are to get down to 140 pounds. I remember how good I felt when I was there before and I want to feel that good again.

My Program:
I'll be watching portion size, fat, and sugar. I'm not going to restrict anything because when I do that I set myself up for failure. I will also exercise 4 to 5 times a week.

Personal Information:
I'm married to the greatest man in the world and have two incredible kids. My kids are grown and on their own but my two fur children (Pumpkin & Bubba) live with us now.

Hey there - glad to hear you are on board with the 60in6 challenge. No rules, just use a recent weight (from June) and that will be your 'official' 60in6 weight. We're striving to lose 60 lbs. by the New Year and that it. Eat, drink, exercise how you see fit - no rigidity here, it's up to us individually to do what's right for us...with the goal to lose, of course.

So that's it. There are now a total of 8 ladies in the group. I'll send and/or post something on my page regarding our 'plan' and the participants. HAPPY that you've decided to join the team!

Hey there...I said I'd keep tabs on you so here I am.

I know you mentioned that you probably gained more than 50 pounds...is it closer to 60? In either case I'm inviting some of my SP friends to join me in my 60 lbs. in 6 months challenge. It's ambitious and yet TOTALLY doable!

I'm contemplating reconnecting with old friends at the end of the year, yet I don't want them to see me at my current size. If you're up for the challenge I'd love your participation. And just think, you'll be basically back at your previous 'thinner' self by the end of the year -- wouldn't that be nice!

Good to hear from you! I've realized that if someone wants to lose 10 or 100 pounds, it's still a struggle. So... it doesn't really matter how much you/me have gained (I say this to talk myself in to believing it), we are still beautiful and lovable people that deserve a fit and healthy body! Yes, keep tabs on me because I fall down a lot... and eventually I get back up. I haven't given up on me and I'd like to see that you haven't given up on you!

I'm here again too (not on SP, just the weight gain part)...I reached my goal of losing 100 pounds nearly three years ago to the day and I've gained 90 pounds back. First 20 pounds then, 20 more...you know the drill.

You are right, we HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE, which means it IS possible that we CAN DO IT AGAIN. Good luck on your current journey. I'm going to keep tabs on you because we can both use the support in the virtual world of SP...I'm glad that you stopped the train at the 50 pound mark.
