Be Happy, Be Healthy, Be FIT!!!
7/13/12 Update: After several *sticky* situations I found myself a bit larger than I like (aka, my clothes don't like me right now!). With my newfound motivation and a bit more time on my hands, I am determined to look great in my clothes again (and even better naked!). The three T's come to mind when I think about my goals: Tiny, Tight, and Toned! After a long (ok, it was only a few months) disappearance from Spark, I've decided that I NEED *(and want) to come back! I originally joined Sparkpeople sometime in 2007 and have been pretty faithful since. It is through Spark that I am able to gain control over my life! I have had issues with my weight since I can remember....Anorexia, Bulimia, EDNOS, Anxiety, Depression, Alcohol Abuse, Yo-Yo Dieting, and everything else under the sun that revolves around my weight; I tried it. I have slowly made progress with myself by changing my perceptions. I no longer think that the super-skinny look is attractive (for me anyways) and that is a HUGE step in the right direction! I find myself gravitating towards fitness/figure competitors as role models and that makes me proud of myself! Yes, I still have days that I get upset about not being able to wear the same size as I did back in college, but I am smart enough now to know that I wasn't healthy back in those days.... I still track my calories and watch my macros like a hawk, but that's ok with me....it keeps my anxiety levels down and keeps me accountable to myself. I still love the feel of a great cardio session, but now I thrive with lifting weights. My body and lifestyle has changed for the better (IMO) and I am proud of it! Thanks Spark!!!
