I admit it! I have High Cholesterol!

Ok, I just found out I have high cholesterol. I have wanted to lose weight for a long time but now I MUST work on my diet and lifestyle. I am not willing to go on cholesterol pills so this has to work for me.
Any encouragement all you Sparkers can give would be so appreciated. I have a really hard time getting motivated.

My Goals:
Lower my cholesterol and reduce my belly fat.

My Program:
Cardio 6 days a week and eating fish (yuck!). Lol, seriously tho, eating lower fat/cholesterol foods and more whole grains and vegetables.

I've been in a holding pattern for a while...kinda lost my motivation...but I'm still logging in everyday to stay connected. I really enjoying spending time on this site surfing pages and reading articles...keeps me interested.

I read on the huddle that you needed support. You can do this. Just take one day at a time. Make small changes and small goals. Try didn't exercises so you don't get bored. Take care. Mary :)

Welcome to SP. I also have high cholesterol. My dr. gave me 3 months to take care of it with my diet. The food tracker is the best place. I have been told that walking will lower bad and raise the good cholesterol. So I try to walk as much as I can. From the looks of things you are well on your way. 9 lbs. is awesome. Keep it going.
