2013 Get Fit Challenge

Hi, I'm Sara. I'm not new to Spark people, but I'm newly returned. In the time since I've been gone I've had a baby girl! She is our fourth girl and a complete gift to our family.

Today I started a twelve week challenge with some other amazing women in a quest to Get Fit. Well, at least take a good start at it! So, I'm back.

In normal life I'm a mom who loves her girls, loves to cook, and homeschools too. I like to be home and I like adventures. I love beaches ...

Today I started a twelve week challenge with some other amazing women in a quest to Get Fit. Well, at least take a good start at it! So, I'm back.

In normal life I'm a mom who loves her girls, loves to cook, and homeschools too. I like to be home and I like adventures. I love beaches where the sun is shining and warm. I like walks through quiet woods and along splashing waves. I love to read books while snuggled under the covers or in my favorite chair sipping a cup of tea. My "blankie" is a pretty throw from Disney with Cinderella's Castle on it that our family calls "Mom's Cinderella Blanket".

I have a goal of running a 5 K. It's been a goal for awhile but I'm thinking this is the year it might really happen! Other than that the normal things like eating good food, eating enough food, drinking plenty of water and moving my body are on the plan! I'm ready to go!

How funny! What a small world! I work in that visitor center...we might have even spoken withiout realizing it...lol! It's a very real possibility if it was a weekday. I'm in the back most of the time, but I'm out at the desk a lot too! If you ever come back by you'll have to make a point to come and say hello!
