I am a novelist writing Christian fiction--romantic suspense, and in summer 2014 I'll be releasing a Regency romance under my pen name, Camille Elliot.

I am also an avid knitter, I've picked up spinning wool into my own yarn, and I have been working with my church youth group for 15 years. I lead one of the worship teams at my church and lead worship for youth group meetings.

In 2010, I discovered the Jeff Galloway Run-Walk-Run method and now I absolutely LOVE running! I mildly enjoyed running before finding this method, but now I am passionate about it. I was so inspired that I trained and completed the Honolulu Marathon in December 2010! Woohoo!

I have had two knee surgeries and so I have been careful about any exercise I do. With Jeff's method, I've been able to run without pain or injury, even on my long runs.

After running the marathon, I let work stress get to me and went back to bad eating habits, such as snacking while working, and I also haven't been as consistent on my running. I developed a bit of plantar fasciitis, but I think I can manage it if I do more stretching and exercises.

In 2014, I'll be training to run the Honolulu marathon again in December!

My Goals:
I'm not sure if this is possible given my age and bone structure, but I'd like to be a size 6.

My new fitness dream is that I'd also like to start running marathons regularly.

I also want to break my habit of snacking while working. I will eat only 5 times a day, not nonstop all day.


My Program:
Eating within my calorie range
Running at least 3 times a week
Stop snacking while I work

I am originally from Hawaii but now I live in Northern California. I have a wonderful husband and a rambunctious dog.


Other Information:
I love to knit. I mean, REALLY love to knit.

I'm an avid reader and love romance novels. I enjoy Regency romances and Harlequin Presents is like candy for me. I also read YA and paranormal.
