Thank you for checking in on me! Everything is going pretty good. I was hospitalized last week to change my insulin, that went well. The baby is measuring small still but she's growing good, so she's just petite and they're really pleased with her growth. Not concerned about that at all anymore. Her last scan the other day showed that her bowel was distended. He didn't see any other signs of a bowel obstruction, so they just have to watch it and see what happens. It could mean surgery and a NICU stay, but the Dr. said he's seen it in diabetic patients and it winds up being nothing. They're still worried about placenta accreta even though everything still looks good. They have decided to deliver me in the main OR instead of labor and delivery so they can be prepared in case I hemorrhage. The only thing that really worries me now is that they probably won't let anyone in the OR with me. Dr. said he'd double check. It's going to be a long surgery and Dad will miss baby being born :( They've also decided to let me go past 37 weeks, if I can make it! They want to schedule her delivery for 38-39 weeks, so that puts me at the week of 1/5-1/11. I had my baby shower last weekend and it was awesome! Everyone was so generous, they know we're in a tough spot with me being out of work. We are pretty much all set for her to arrive now! 1039 days ago
Thanks for commenting on my "Pity Party" blog. I appreciate the support and encouragement. I got lots of great feedback and it has given me plenty to think about and consider. One thing I know is that I will never give up on trying to reach my goal, even if I have to change my approach. Have a great day!

In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours." -Ayn Rand
