Can't think of a title.. Just shaking my head.

A sweet woman named Mel (my step-mom, definetly not the wicked sort) told me about spark in 2007 (after seeing her amazing transformation) I didnt follow through. Since then I have given birth to a beautiful boy and much to my delight was at my pre-pregnancy weight within weeks. (A little soft around the middle, but I could deal with that.) Those jeans felt so good. That was in July of last year. Now I am seventy pounds heavier, and have just begun to be able to go up and down my stairs without resting on the landing. At the end of December I went to the Dr after I stopped nursing the baby. No use before that, I wouldn't of taken anything anyway. The Dr noticing the weight gain, said that at 40 (woohoo) my thyroid was buckling..normal for women my age after giving birth.. get out and move. I went home to bed. By the end of January I was feeling pretty worn. My oldest daughter had sprung a "plan a formal wedding in less the 8wks" on us, and it was finally over. Another visit to a woman dr in the same practice, and more weight gain, got me the ticket for some bloodwork. Well, the doctor was right. My thyroid had buckled. Synthroid. Then more of it. Then more blood work. Now I am sleeping 20 hours a day. Thank God for Moms.. because mine had to move in at this point. More weight. My husband decides he can't live with a wife who is dying and drags me to New York, and a specialist. Several weeks and some Armor Thyroid, a celiac disease diagnosis, here I sit. I feel human. Enough to care that nothing feels right. There is enough brain clarity to know that I am the only one that can change it. With support. I still have medical issues, we are still chasing some tails but I am at least a lot better. I have a way to go, but I've come a long way. :) Thank God.

Dear Friend, Hope you have a blessed week-end.
One of my favorite Bible Verses:
The Golden Rule! Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. What kind of world would it be if we all lived by this rule. HUGS!

A Poem of Hope
by Helena Fehr

I feel the arms of God around me,
as I lay on my bed at night.
Asleep, I feel the Angel's touch-
I'm surrounded and held tight.

Dear Friend, Hope all is well with you and your family! So many hurting from the storms and floods! May you be blessed! Love and prayers Jenny

May the Lord wrap you in his tender care and keep you safe. I love this passage form the Bible: Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
The King James Version is in the public domain
