New to this Site!
I am a 54 yo woman-recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Hoping to find the "missing link" that will finally help me lose the 100-150 #'s I need to lose. Would love to have an online friend who understands how hard it is to make permanent lifestyle changes. UPDATE!!! I am now 57 yo, and have lost about 53 pounds in the last three years. My Goals:
1) Lose 150 pounds in a safe way. 2) Make positive, PERMANENT lifestyle changes to support weight loss/management. 3) Let my Inner Self out to play!
My Program:
Eating Paleo-Style: lots of grass fed meats, fish, pastured chickens, and organic fruits and veggies, with healthy coconut and EVOO for fats. Very little grains. Also nuts and seeds. No calorie counting, just eat when hungry till comfortably satisfied.
Other Information:
I am spiritually, (not religiously) oriented; love the Arts, reading, and cooking.
