I'm a Weight Watchers refugee. i started that program at the beginning of 2012, but after 2 months i got a bit frustrated with it and thought I could do it alone. I told myself if I gained weight back that I would come here...the rest is history.

My Goals:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1/1/14: toning, maintenance, mindfulness. trying not to think so much about the numbers on the scale. striving to be ok with "me" no matter what.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

one of my older goals was to get to 20 pounds lost since joining SP. i told myself that i would go on maintenance on 1/1/14 no matter what, in an effort to prove to myself that this is not about the numbers. i'm not sure i believe that yet.

My Program:
-Blogilates monthly calendars, as much of them as i can given my schedule

-mindfulness practices (mindful eating, meditation, etc)

-using measurements to track progress, not just the scale

Personal Information:
where i'm from/where i've lived: OKC, Dallas, Memphis, Boston, Nashville

emoticon Taking that 10 minutes a day or more for exercise is really good for you, both your body, and your mind. When you go into the kitchen to raid the fridge go to the sink instead and do sink pushups! Exercise for 90 seconds before every meal and your body will think that you had to chase what you are eating or run away from something and wow you made it! Now be thankful, sit down and eat mindfully. Good luck with your studies and be the best you can be in whatever you choose! emoticon

You can look at a mountain as a wild place of beauty to view or paint or photograph from a safe distance; or a wild place capable of destruction like Mount St. Helens. Or you can look at it as a wild challenge that you take on one step at a time. When you begin the challenge you'll have no idea how long it will take to get to the top, but you know you will with the support of your team.

At the Weekly Challenge(s) Team, we'll help you climb that mountain. You'll find us on the rocky slopes, the shady valleys, the wild flower meadows, the glacier lakes. New Challenges are starting every Sunday.

I'll be watching for your posts at the Weekly Challenge Team
