I want to make better eating choices and become more active to become healthier.
To eat 3 healthy meals a day and limit my snacking. To exercise at least 5 times a week.
My name is Rita and I leave in Bluffton, Indiana. I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. I lost my husband 7 years ago and have learned to be independent. I am going to retire at the end of February of 2014 after40 years at my current job. I am active in our local animal shelter and have 2 cats that I adopted from there. I like to cross stitch and read in my free time.
Hi Rita. Glad to see that you are back on track; you may have started and stopped here at SP over the past two years, but now is the time to stick with it. I'm also on the 60's team and am renewing my commitment to my goals. SP helped me get healthy, totally changed how I view food... and even gets credit for how the contents of my kitchen 'larders' have been totally changed to a healthy foods without the empty calorie items! Now that my insides are doing well, it's time to shove some pounds (ok a LOT of pounds) off me! I'll be cheering for you even as I work on my own goals. Go for it, and enjoy every step of the journey.
