Goal weight in 2011

**Update 02/10/11**
I'm on the road to sucess this year...The scales is a little stubborn lately, but I can definitely feel it in the pants! So far I'm down 2 pant sizes (since the last week of dec '10) I have another 5K on March 5th that I'm aiming for...would like to run the whole thing...but so far I've only been able to continuously run the whole 3.1 miles once without poopin out. But consistancy is the key! I will be ready! 2011 will be my goal year!

Hi all! Thanks for checking out my page. My name is Kelly and I'm a 32 YO single mom of one beautiful daughter, who just turned 4. I would love to have a buddy to motivate each other. I currently work full time and only have time to go to the gym during my lunch hour. I'm tired of looking in the mirror and feeling bad about myself, only now I'm motivated to finally do something about it. I have a lot of weight to lose to be healthy (and diagnosed with high cholestrol), but it seems as if I've been juggling the same 5 lbs over and over. 8/14/2010 : I. LOVE. RUNNING. What a rush and I feel so good afterwards. Just (mostly) ran my first 5K today! WOOT WOOT! Time 38:38. I've already gotten my 2nd one ready to go for 9/11/10. I really hope to better my time. I feel so proud...honestly I was so nervous before I left to head to the race, but SOO glad I made it! Low humidity next week..can't wait to run during lunch again!

I'm a single mom too, I have 2 teenagers ages 20, 18. I'm 44 and struggled with weight my entire life.
I find the Sparkpeople very motivational!!

It's always great to see new folks who are joining sparkpeople on a mission to better their health, adding years to their lives by decreasing weight wise. You'll have to check out my sparkpage. So glad that you have joined! You'll find that SP is a wonderful community of people that have a common interest in health and wellness. You can find so much support, motivation and inspiration just by reading the message boards, blogs and member Spark Pages -- it has truly kept me feeling positive and on-track!

Not sure which side of Cincy you're from -- I'm live on the eastside, close to Kenwood/Blue Ash My husband and I have raised our three children here and I wouldn't have wanted to have them grow up anywhere else -- I love this city!
