I joined SP a couple of weeks ago but am just getting around to setting up my page. I have alot of work ahead of me cause I have almost fifty pounds to lose but I have a feeling with the help of this site I'll make it!

Update 9/15/08
Well here I am nine months later and I have to say that this is a long journey. I lost twenty pounds for my daughter's wedding but between the wedding, summer and the vacation to Washington D.C. I put about five back on. I am proud of myself for ...

My Goals:
My goal is to stay on track as much as possible and to remember that it took a long time to put this weight on and it will take a long time for it to come off!

My Program:
1. Track my nutrition every day.
2. Stay within my calorie range.
3. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day and track it.


Personal Information:
Hi, I'm Carol from Maine. I have been married for almost 33 years and have three children. Two are my own and one sort of adopted us. She came to spend a weekend and before we knew it she had become a permanent fixture! Today she is definately a part of the family. I also have seven of the best grandchildren anyone could ask for! They are my biggest motivation.

Other Information:
I enjoy rubber stamping and scrapbooking. Unfortunately I haven't ever finished a scrapbook. I'm thinking this is the year. Maybe I'll do one on my weightloss.

Hey I read your blog.... and one thing that works for me (not everyone, but for me) is to get up and just do it..... I drink my shake and then do my workout... and bam its done. There are mornings I don't look forward to sweating but deep inside I lOVE the way I feel after. An added plus is that i have more energy if I do work out and it starts my day off right. I am sharp focused and I want to keep going. Also try a protien shake... honest I do love my shakes!!!!!! I does fill me up and gives me my proten. I am ready now for my workout!!!!

Thanks for the kind words! We love Alaska and want to go back.

A couple of years ago I was SO on track! I lost 18 lbs towards the twenty that I wanted to lose. Now I need to lose 25lbs! For my physical and mental health I must lose weight, I'm tired of being 'fat'! WE CAN DO THIS!!
