    THANK YOU! Some days I feel so amazing, like I'm crushing it, then I think I've ONLY lost $45+ pounds since Feb and others lost so much more so much more quickly than I have. but you know what? I've lost it, I've kept it off, and I keep losing. It doesn't matter how long it takes, it's the downward trend and the way I feel that's important. Thank you for the compliment!

    WOW, you have been here almost as long as I have. Not many from '07 still around. I find Richard Bernstein M.D. to be very interesting, along with Jason Fung M.D. and now I'm listening to Gregory Ellis PhD on YouTube. I'm not sure if he is 100% valid but he does make a lot of good points about the LCHF diet which he follows. He does believe in Calorie Count. I never understood Dr. Atkins to say "Eat all you want" but rather" eat until full and STOP". He thinks the Atkins diet is to tough to start out at 20 carbs because we don't have enough fat burning enzymes until about 4 weeks into the protocol. I am on Day 25 and finding that I feel better, but I did go through the "Keto flu" period. No hunger so that is all I care.
    I had my GB out 7 yrs ago as I had two golf ball size stones, all from a low fat diet I followed for years and high carbs. Haven't missed it since.
