While young at heart my 60 year old body is beginning to object to carrying around this extra weight. My goal is to lose the excess weight, get healthy and live another 60 years. My mind knows what I need to do but my cravings and my lack of planning often knock me off course but my goal is not to stay there in the mire of unhealthy food. My goal is a thinner, healthier me. I can and I will acheive that goal. I may stumble and fall from time to time but I will get up and I will get back on ...

This committment is for life!!!!!!!!

My Goals:
Lose weight .
Be more active.
Enjoy life more.
Be more of an inspiration to others.
Cut back on the amount of meds I have to take for my blood pressure and asthma.

My Program:
I try to do the Nutrition planner daily. Have only missed it when I do not have computer access or am ill.
To walk daily and do my stretching daily, plus some strengthing exercises.

Personal Information:
As a Wife, Mother and Grandmother, I would like to leave a healthy legacy for my family in the next half of my life.
Yes, I am almost 60 but plan to live to 120 and be able to quilt and craft with the best of 'em all that time.

Other Information:
My favorite movie of all time is "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" . It was made in 1948 and the first time it was on tv my Momma asked if I would like to watch it with her. I must have been about 13 and I still never tire of watching it.

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." (Robert Brault)

Thanks so much, Cal, for my lovely rainbow and sweet words of encouragement! It was just what I needed to see this morning as I logged on to the computer. I got a very good night's sleep, so I feel much better than I did yesterday.

I hope today is a lovely day for you and you keep working on those house improvements. It's so good to have you back!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
