Wonder where I've been? I've been working on a project other than my weight! Even more stressful!

Feels so good to be able to fit into this dress!

I'm a very short person...5'0"(if I lie a little). I was overweight and suffered from daily migraines (and all the medication that went with them) and just wasn't happy in my skin. I'm was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I took medication daily for migraines and also took medication to deal with the side effects too.

I found Spark and tried the plan but still just couldn't lose the weight until I resorted to a drastic low calorie diet. That low calorie, restrictive diet was the best thing I ever did. It was like being given a second chance. I got my weight under control and learned a lot about myself and my body.

At the age of 37, I actually weight less now than I did when I graduated high school (20 years ago)! I renewed my driver's license last year and it was a milestone; I didn't have to lie about my weight!

Going into the first phase 3, I discovered that my migraines are due to an allergy to MSG (and all of the names that it falls under). I feel amazing now. I'm happy to eat clean for the rest of my life as long as I continue to be free of migraines. Truely, it was an eye opening experience to see what exactly triggers them. Never in a million years would have thought they were triggered by food! Of course it took some luck and some drastic steps to find out.

After being a vegetarian for 22 y ears, I'm now 100% Primal! I've never enjoyed my food so much. I love that I can eat...I mean I can really eat! To think all of these years I could have been eating REAL food and not suffered at all. Life lessons, that's what it is all about.

Happy, Healthy, and SKINNY!

UPDATE: it has been over 2 years since I finished with my (very low calorie) diet and I've stabilzed beautifully. To all those naysayers who say you can't keep it off after using a very low calorie diet...WRONG!!!

I thought I'd give an update since I haven't had much time to be online and respond to people. I'm on the tail end of building my house and SOOOOO ready to be done. The stress has caused a little set back with my weight. I've gained about 6 lbs back but hoping to get it off as soon as I move in. Something had to give! I could only worry about so many things at one time. I'll post updates since so many people don't believe you can't lose weight after hCG.

Hope you're doing well. I was looking up LISAS1980 wondering where she went off to and saw your post. Just thought I'd say "HI". I know in her last vlog she said something about adopting two boys that were 12 and 13. Strange since she did so much traveling with her career.

Happy 4th of July. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Doing well, having some sleep issues but still sticking to the primal diet. Did buy some no flour bread I liked this weekend which should have helped increase my glycogen levels but I still could not sleep. Stayed up 23 hrs. on Saturday and still not getting enough.

So frustrating but hopefully my body will get back in balance. Back down to pre-PMS levels but no wt loss yet.
