I'm a Loser!

Hi! I'm Bonnie. I first registered with SP in August 2006, and lasted a whole week before I stopped participating. I came back in December 2006 with a new attitude, and lost over 77 pounds by August 2007!

Since then I've maintained my weight (and lost a little more), continued to be active as much as possible, and enjoyed every day of my healthy life. I work hard, play hard, and track my food and exercise :)

My Goals:

-Climb Half Dome again
-Get my CPA license
-Be an awesome mom and wife!
-Complete a half marathon in under 2 hours (current PR is 2:07)


My Program:
I'm sticking with SP's calorie and other nutritional guidelines every day, and exercising 3-5x/week. I'm a C25k graduate and completed my first marathon in November 2008. I also play tennis, and enjoy bicycling and using my elliptical. I strength train 2-3x per week.

Personal Information:
I have a wonderful husband (BIGROB12613 on here), one son, and two stepdaughters. I also have several furbabies.

Hi! I just wanted to see how your marathon training was going! I skipped my training group this week to run a half marathon, and it was a really great way to build my confidence and feel like the whole marathon in November will be doable. I also took more than 5 minutes off my time from my first half, even though there was a bathroom stop this time. I hope your training is also going well!

My 9+ miles was pretty great, actually. I'm overseas right now - away from training group, but lots of exciting new places to run through and see. It's a great way to explore a city! I do think I need to work on a lower-fiber diet prior to long runs -- last night I was at a picnic with lots of healthy, delicious salads, but it did NOT agree with my intestines in the last stretch home.

It's really great that your 10 year old son can bike alongside you. That's totally way better than any training group!
