I LOVE Basenji's. I've got a part basenji part chihuahua. He's got the basenji yodel that I love. He still barks a bit, but not much.

Good luck on your weight loss and welcome to Sparkpeople!

Thank you for welcome comments!
My master of muscle is my little Basenji.
We have been training together on the top of a county park where dogs can run free like Yoda and Luke-Skywalker. Although she won't let me pur her on my back.

Welcome Cafe_Aebee,
Hope you enjoy joining in on the Iron Maidens. There are some wonderful and very knowledgeable women there who can help you with all types of exercise questions. If you need motivation, you've come to the right place.

I don't recognize the two Japanese authors you mentioned, but I really enjoyed Akimitsu Takagi (very bizarre) and Ishiguro (even though he's British). Studied literature in college and read a lot of middle ages Japanese writing (a woman in the court who wrote kind of erotic stuff), and Yukio Mishima (a little over the top, but interesting.)

Will check out your preferred authors. Love your dog, she's a cutie.

Write soon, Dedene
