The incredible shrinking me!
I'm working to bring my weight down and get healthier. I'm starting with diet, adding exercise, and using Sparkpeople to help myself track the job that I'm doing. I'm putting things on the website and trading food logs with my friends because it helps to keep me honest.

My Goals:
I've been heavy pretty much my entire life, and I'm finally doing something to change that. Since 2/3/09, I've lost 170 pounds - 140 of it since I joined Sparkpeople! I met my first major goal of 350 pounds, and now I'm working on "smaller" goals until I reach an area where I feel "right."
My Program:
I'm working on portion control, counting my calories, and I've started going to a gym where I am doing TRX circuit training and yoga, in addition to light aerobics and using my Wii fit / Wii Sports at home. EDIT: I've also decided to start trying the "Slow Carb" diet from the 4-Hour Body, and Kettlebell workouts. I'm also walking between 4-6 miles a day, every day!

It's hard. I know it's hard. But you stick with it and you can do it!
