Trying To Get It Right...

I was always a small person. Over the last 10 years I have packed on nearly 100 pounds! That's a lot of extra baggage for my small frame. I have become uncomfortable with who I have become and I want to change that, starting now.

My Goals:
I need to lose 58 more pounds to reach my goal of 130 pounds. It has been a struggle, and it took me losing my baby to finally start losing some real weight. It's strange where some motivation comes from. I've lost 35 pounds so far.

My Program:
I workout better if I dont have a strict routine. I love to dance, and that's what I do most of. I turn up the music and move to the beat. What fun! I also use the Ab Lounger, and perform workouts from my fitness magazines and books. I mix it up daily to keep from getting bored. I also walk, use the treadmill, stepper and recently purchased The Bean, which I can't wait to use.

Personal Information:
I'm 28 years old, married and tired of being overweight. I can't believe I ever let myself go. I used to take pride in my fit body, then life happened. But, I am ready to take control again. So, here's to the future of lean legs, flat abs and a great lookin butt.

Other Information:
I'm a writer, with one book, self published, titled Soul Fuel. It's a Christian Devotional. I'm also a photographer. I'm married, 8 years now... I am a Youth group leader and mentor. I love people. I lost my baby and that whole experience has left me forever changed. I enjoy crafting, birdwatching, cooking, baking, drawing, painting, and so much more. Some may call me boring, but I say creativity requires being alone....a lot of the time.

Hey,

I saw you on the writers workshop team and wanted to invite you to another team (okay so it's mine!) because I'm about to start Script Frenzy this April and need something to keep me on track. The workshop will keep me writing but I need a challenge to go with it and yet want some people who know what it's like to combine writing and staying fit. that is the way we all need to do it, one pound at a time, take it slow, because if you do it the wrong way too fast, it comes back on even faster! keep up the awesome work and dont ever think twice about it, dont look back!!! hope to talk to you soon!
