I'M BACK! Well, let me say I look at my old belly pics and they just look great in comparison to how I look now. We just had our first child a month ago and I am sporting an enormous belly. I admit I gained too much weight during pregnancy- 50 lbs. total. So my highest weight was 170 lbs when I was one week past due date and prior to pregnancy I had maintained 118 lbs. steady though I was not as toned as I had previously been and always longed to be thinner.

In the first month post-partum I lost 20 lbs (including weight that came off during childbirth etc). It is slowing down now. I knew I had a problem when I did not want my husband seeing my weight. Then I knew I had a real problem when I got super uncomfortable in my 9th month. Finally I realized the extent of the problem when I saw my stretch marks after childbirth. They are all over my stomach and hips and they are very dark and very embarrassing. The shape of my tummy has also changed and now it droops very low- so low in fact that it is hard to find pants that fit properly. To put it bluntly, I am desperate to lose weight. Now though I am also taking care of my daughter so I have to get slightly more creative with my time and my efforts.

Other Information:
My real goal is to get lean and muscular and within an appropriate weight range for my height (5'1") and bone structure (very petite, small-boned).

2nd goal: learn to eat to survive, not for pleasure, or to ease my emotions.

3rd goal: Jog for 10 minutes straight.

    Muffin top! I love it! I feel your pain! Been searching for some petite gals out there. I am 5'3" and was up to 132 in June (go back and forth for years now!) I carry it all in my midsection. I always joke at work how I have an "Otis" gut (seeing how Otis Spunkmeyer muffins are pretty large, it's a good description). I love your pics. Your shape very much resembles mine. Looks like we are about the same weight now too! Nice to find someone that is at the same pace as me... going in the same direction.
