Hi, I'm Brenda and I'm a foodaholic couch potato. I'm 48 years old and have had weight issues for at least the last 40 of those years. The whole metamorphosis theme I chose basically means that I've been hiding beneath this protective cocoon of fat for much of my adult life, but I'm finally ready to get healthy and turn into the beautiful butterfly I know I can become. I know it's going to take a lot of work...but this time I am willing to do what it takes no matter what.

A little info about me...I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere Iowa (lol) where I was born and raised and am now raising my soon to be 16 year old son. I've been divorced for about 14 years and have put my son and his needs first since the day he was born. Now it's time for me to finally work on myself and take care of my own needs...especially since he doesn't seem to need me too much anymore, lol. Anyone with kids his age will know what I mean, I'm sure :)
